We have a 2024 Ford Edge with a built in wireless charger. Love the feature but unfortunately the phone overheats on long trips when sitting on the charger. The dealer tested it with their shop phone and the same thing happened. Tested it with another Ford Edge and it happened there. In the end, they said their Ford field tech says that’s how they are supposed to work. I call BS. No phone charger is supposed to overheat a phone. Any suggestions on how to take this to another level with Ford? I don’t blame the dealership, it’s the field tech that’s not going to authorize them to do the work! Appreciate any insight. Thanks!
