I am a For Honor Alpha player and i have played it once per day since it released and I can confidently say I am an above average player.

But kensei has always made me so violently angry at this game…always. Since before his rework back in 2018 and even now In 2024 his whole character is just so incredibly annoying to go against that I honestly can’t be bothered to actually try against them anymore.

I could talk about the fast lights with a jank animation, or the huge hitboxes that really don’t make sense, or just the dodge attack (it’s not hard to counter at all it’s just so annoying to watch happen lol)

But no the thing I hate most about this fucker is the top heavy and the fact that he can feint into almost anything from it and all of the options are good. Unreactable hyper armor lights? We got it, sweeping hyper armor heavy? We got it, Softfeint to GB? You know it, NATURES WRATH!?? WELL NO SHIT OFC WE GOT NATURES WRATH, or and how about about this? We do NONE OF THAT and throw the fuckin 34 damage heavy with a little extra side of “go fuck yourself”.

I’d like to point out I’m aware kensei isn’t that good but we all have our kryptonite and he is one of them for me. I see a lot of complains about kyoshin and afeera and I can confidently say imo I think they are both free wins and they are never ever a problem for me regardless of their skill.
