Do rankings after each game take into account your team’s “strength” based on starters?
For example. I was ranked #3 after 2 games. Had won 40-23 and 77-19. For my third game I put in bad players because I was a 17 point favorite. Won 48-17 (they were ranked 76, granted). But after that game I dropped from 3rd to 7th. (For addl detail: no team has played more games, I’m just behind numerous 3-0 teams). I get that my opponent was weak, but I beat them by more than the spread. So is it that I had weak players in or do all those teams just have better SOS on that one game?
