I Keep Getting Request from "Sugar daddies". Is this a real thing?

I recently started an onlyfans account featuring mostly pictures of my feet. I also started an instagram to help grow my page. I've gotten several messages from men saying that want to take care of my financially and want me to be their sugar baby?
I dont show my face in these pictures. I guess I have a hard time believing this is real and not a scam. Why would someone who hasn't even seen my face want to just give me money? Am I just naive? Is this a real thing? And if so, how do I know it's legit?
