I wanted to share a story that happened over the summer. I’m 37 and I was practicing tennis with an older women on my team around 45. We practiced for a few hours. The next day was our tennis match. Another girl on our team showed up and said that she had forgotten her socks. My tennis partner said I have socks in my car that I practiced in yesterday. The socks have been baking in the hot car in her shoes for a day so I would assume they are pretty smelly. The girl said thank you. My partner said sorry if they are smelly, she said it’s ok they stink but it’s fine. She played the match. After the match the peeled off the socks and handed the damp socks to my partner. She just held the wet socks in her hand. I was hoping I could get a whiff but the wind wasn’t blowing my direction. It was pretty neat how everything transpired.
