Hi, folks. I have debated posting on here for a few days and I was going to yesterday but I chickened out because I don't like asking for help like this and I always feel like there's people out there who are worse off than me and I don't deserve help. I live with my fiance and our 2 year old cat and 12 week old kitten. My fiance and I are getting married next summer.
We have recently had to pay for some car repairs that depleted our bank account. On top of that, I have student loan payments that I have to pay monthly (luckily my fiance works for a non profit organization that helps developmentally disabled people and, as a result, qualifies for public service student loan forgiveness and doesn't have to make monthly loan payments.) We both graduated from a 4 year college and got our bachelor's degree in sociology/human services. Currently I am not working in human services, but my fiance is (my plan is to someday work in the field!)
For the last few weeks I've constantly been playing catch up with our finances. Any assistance with groceries would be immensely helpful. I recently stumbled upon this sub and I think it's a really wonderful idea. When I'm in a position to help, I will absolutely pay it forward. I'm all about little acts of kindness (I'm very active on r/randomactsofcards and I love spreading kindness through the mail!)
I'm not sure what else you all would like to know. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. Thank you for reading. U Here's my Amazon list: https://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/2F3V867I0BUO5
