Does coating a pan with diamonds actually make it less sticky?

I mean the title says it all, I did some googling and all I found was reviews of diamond coated pans or companies trying to sell them. They all basically said the same thing, that diamonds are "the hardest material" but not why it matters when they the pan is meant to be nonstick. Some reviews listed that a pro of a diamond coated pan was that diamonds "are naturally nonstick" but not how or why, or if there were any tests between diamond coated nonstick or Teflon coated or even a pan with nothing to make it nonstick!

I saw one of those Blue Diamond commercials and thought of this.
