What are the best restaurants that locals go to on a regular basis?

Looking for spots that aren’t necessarily pushed to the top of Yelp but are still the best of the best. Any cuisines welcome and desserts too!
P.S. - sorry for this post as I’m sure this gets asked a lot in here. I just couldn’t find a good post to look through.

Azuki sushi is very high quality and the chef is a legit sushi chef trained in Japan. Also in Bankers Hill .

In my experience many people who eat ramen in the states stay away from the miso ramens because they've never had it and they don't think miso when they think ramen. Most stick to the bone and chicken broths. This is just observation though.
