With the New Year upon us my fellow moderators and I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and we hope the new year will bring us all good things. With that said we would also like to announce that the banner and icon contest has now ended and we would like to thank everyone for their submissions. They were all very well made and beautiful, and if it was up to me they would all be chosen as the banner and icon. However, there can be only one winner. Here are the results of the first place winners and the second place winners of the contest.

For the icon

First place goes u/Zeppelin904 with their submission having earned a total of -159 upvotes. They will have their icon be used for the next year. They have also won a $25 virtual gift card of their choosing or a $25 donation to a charity of their choosing.

In second place is u/Korb- with their submission earning 142 upvotes. They have won a $15 virtual gift card of their choosing or donation to the charity of their choosing.

In first place is u/aDwarfLegion with their banner having earned 175 upvotes. Not only will their banner be the subreddit's banner for the next year they also have won a $25 virtual gift card or donation to the charity of their choosing.

In second place is u/BaddestFemale with their banner earning 69 upvotes. They have won a $15 virtual gift card or donation to the charity of their choosing as well.
