Carta 2 charge port melted my charger!

Two nights ago I used a brand new charger that had been used to charge a vape on the Carta that same night. I plugged in my charger and it immediately started to get hot and within a minute I saw smoke and the plastic on the charger had melted the metal prong into the turned off device. I haven’t had any issues whatsoever with my device and I treat it very well. I don’t have the receipt and the smoke shop I got it from says they can’t reprint it. Any help??
