I joined flyff in v6 and played up until 2010 when I fully quit the game. Back then there were a lot of useless skills, especially for yoyo users aside from crit swing and the pvp skills. For this version I see they have modernized the skills, 5% atk on the enchants rather than flat damage, but they still don't really seem to excel at anything in particular other than high crit rate. Rangers can get 100% crit as well as still have the option to aoe, 1v1, or pvp. A BP can't get the crit as easily but they are still exceptionally strong 1v1, stronger in pvp, can aoe for fast leveling, and can self buff and heal.
A jester can only 1v1 in pve and they are second to a BP in pvp, assuming psykeepers don't have old reflection in which case they are third since they just kill themselves on a full sta reflection psy. Other classes have gotten better, especially RM, but jesters still seem the same.
In old flyff I was hoping the third job would make them more interesting in pve and atleast give them aoe but it didn't. Doesn't look like this version gave them much either. I fact they moved their best set to 105, which will make it more painful for them to level.
If I'm wrong by all means please show me how jesters stand out in uniqueness or power compared to other classes in pve for this version. They are not that good in pvp to justify the weak leveling and no access to aoe. People stack sta and hp in pvp and a yoyo jester is entirely reliant on one shotting someone. If they can't they are caught with their pants down and will most likely A) die to a BP's MUCH stronger one hit move asal B) Kill themselves on a psykeepers reflect, C) get trolled by a RM spam casting heal and aoe on herself till you die or give up. And even tho enchant absorb gives % atk now it's absorption rate may still be very questionable as I don't see the drain numbers on the wiki. It was pathetically low and not noticeable In the Gpotatoe version.
