List population from the second collection

Post Body

I have an initial page that lists Locations these are all stored in a collection with relevant data and a field LocationID this is working correctly. When a location is tapped it opens the AssetDetail page. This page once again lists the location info but has a list view that displays all the ASSETS from a second collection with every asset with that LocationID. My problem is that the assets list is not populating.

I don't know the exact way to use and apply Page Parameters and Back End Queries in this situation.

Is there a good primer or any advice someone could offer?
