Confused about VSC, Xcode and AS

Hi,
so I want to make a cross platform app that works both on IOS and Android and desktop. Now I have installed Flutter and Im used to programming in Visual Studio Code. Is that enough to make my app? Or do I need both Xcode and Android Studio, regardless of having VSC, and if yes, why?
