I bought the Nuvo flute as a cheap second flute that I can keep out and abuse.
With everything pushed in tightly, it's tuned to around A = 425Hz. Rolling the headjoint out a bit gets it to a somewhat worse, but still playable 432Hz. It's possible to get it to 440Hz but is pretty much unplayable in that position. I haven't found any info on whether it's possible to tune it higher.
I don't see anyone online talking about this, so when I remember that my old youth orchestra often tuned to even 442Hz I have to ask, is my flute an outlier or are they all they all pitched so low?
