To most of us on the sub, I’m sure this is obvious. However, I’ve noticed that the majority of my friends who listened to the mix tape for the first time without the visualizer did not enjoy it half as much as those who did. This mixtape isn’t one to be casually listened to; it deserves the listeners full and undivided attention. That’s where the visualizer comes in. Not only does it provide an amazing visual experience, but it really completes the mixtape as a whole as it forces the listener to become fully immersed and engaged with the dynamics of the music.

Granted, I do enjoy listening to the mixtape on its own because I can’t always sit down and watch the film from start to finish (i.e. car drives) and it’s still absolutely incredible. But, to me, the two are inseparable if you want the fullest, truest experience.
