Working in my 20s it was all about trying to create a pathway to a $100,000 salary. It felt like that was needed to afford a middle class lifestyle.
I would argue inflation and housing affordability has pushed this to $200,000. Now in my 30s I suggest you are middle class right up to $300,000.
What does everyone think?
Iām Living in San Francisco for context.
We're in an older suburb near Sac State in Sacramento. Combined, the wife and I are at around $250k. We're doing pretty good. It was all about finding the right home in the right place.
