I’m sooo confused..

On eco mode, silent, turbo boost disabled… and I’m not even gaming rn and just have Chrome open😭 I’m new to this sort of laptop and I followed a bunch of instructions, but I’m still really lost and I just know I haven’t done all the required steps. It’s all too complicated for me. Please explain this to me like I’m 5!!
