Hey everyone! Wondering if I can get some tips or advice on flounder fishing in Texas bays. I grew up in Delaware, and bay flounder fishing with my dad there involved drift fishing with a bottom rig, simply with a mudminnow hooked through the lips. Since growing up and moving to Texas, I haven’t had as much opportunity to go salt water fishing. I miss it greatly and want every saltwater trip with my 12-year-old to be productive. I bought a kayak and outfitted it with a trolling motor. I also have waders and enjoy wade fishing for white bass in the creeks. I managed to make it out to Matagorda Bay Wade fishing on hotel point one morning , but didn’t get anything on swim baits or rebels. Any tips for flounders?
