I’ll start. Jussi Jokinen. He’s actually the reason I started liking the team. He’s also my favorite player of all time.

Weird? Yeah, I know. I actually have his jersey (in a kids small) as my first ever item of Panther collection.

He was just so silky. Shootout specialist. His shootout highlight reel is what made him so good in my eyes.

So, he signs with the Florida Panthers. I had taken a break from watching hockey, as young me was obsessed with FIFA 14 and the World Cup.

Getting back into hockey, I didn’t want to root for the bruins (hometown team). Why? Because I love to torture myself. I chose the Panthers. All because of some random FA signing that happened to be my favorite player of all time.
