I'm not natively a Florida Panthers fan. I love many of the players that play for the team and many of the Execs that run the team. That being said I have watched every SCF game that decided the cup for the last 30 years and through it all I have to say that this one was special. I watched it with my kids and they loved it. I'm certain that it has made hockey fans for life out of them seeing the emotions that the players put into winning the cup. Seeing Paul Maurice and Roberto Luongo lift the cup, Bob skating with the cup, Barkov standing with Bettman... it was all so amazing and I haven't felt this excited for the people on the team themselves in a long long time. I know it'll stay with me too.
