Just got my Hunting license, and doing some forum reading. Starting to get a little discouraged reading, anyone on here avid hunters in Florida that can confirm or deny that the Hunting here is awful?! From what I'm reading it seems like the public lands are overcrowded and deer are nonexistent. Yet reading any state publications or Hunting websites they seem to really talk up game populations and acreage to hunt. Also WMA's seem to only issue 2 day permits or something? Is the best route just finding someone with private land best, what regions are better than others, ect.?
