More mature nightlife at now?

Wife and I are both 35 and we moved back about a year ago. We decided we would like to get out soon and hit a club for fun. I don't want to be sitting in the midst of a bunch of old old people or a bunch of newly 21year Olds. Whats the barscene like now for the middle age group?
