I've noticed in a couple of houses, including my own that there's a mild almost unnoticable slope down in the wood floors to meet the base of the stairs.
Is this normal? Why do contractors do this? Should I submit a warranty ticket to get it absolutely flat?
Of course, once you notice the slight slope, you'll never miss it.
Our home is still under warranty and the purpose of my question is whether this is a valid warranty claim to be fixed. I was going to submit a ticket until I noticed it in some other houses in other neighborhoods as well.
