Performed the Anhydrous Calcium Chloride test on my slab after finding moisture under previously installed LVP and the result comes out to 4.95. I am installing AquaGuard performance waterproof wood-based laminate with sentinel protect plus underlayment.
I know the moisture content is too high for the sentinel product but I want to know:
A: Should I use a deep penetrating sealer on my concrete?
B: Should I just put a 6 mil barrier below all of it?
C: Should I just tile the floors or put LVP back in?
4.95 seems very high to me with no leaks in my house and it is a 1 story house built in 1991. Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.
