They want to do it tomorrow: Installer says that they acclimate luxury vinyl flooring in a temp controlled warehouse . . .
Post Body

. . . and that there is no need to acclimate inside my actual house. So, they say we're doing it all tomorrow, right out of the box.

I'm near certain (but haven't asked) that they don't open the boxes in the warehouse, and they certainly don't take all the planks out.

Please tell me if I'm wrong to refuse them to allow the install part of the job until those planks have been in my house for 24 hours!!

Thank you all so much!

UPDATE 19/1/24: They ended up dropping the planks off Wednesday and are doing the work today. I think the biggest thing that swayed them was looking up the install instructions and pointing out they specifically say that it is a "best practice" to acclimate for at least 48 hours. Thanks to you all.
