TIL (although it never crossed my mind) that it's entirely possible to flirt through a corporate WebEx chat room DURING a 20-person meeting.

Post Body

I've been in a training class with 20 other people at my new job at a large, nation-wide company. We're not using our cameras, so we're all just names in the chat box and voices through the speakers to each other. Last few days I've been noticing this woman in the class who has a great voice, great attitude and has her shit together, if you know what I mean. Plus, she's funny!

Her headshot in her employee profile is really cute, and I looked her up on FB (not on my company computer, don't worry). Let's just say: HOTTIE!!

I started liking her chat posts, reacting with emojis and whatnot. I do that with others' posts too when I want to, but I have been making sure I hit hers each time. Then today she and I started "competing" to be the first to respond to the trainers' questions and we definitely had each others' attention.

Then I had a legit reason to send her a direct message to ask a question. She found a reason to keep that private conversation going and by the afternoon she was hitting my chat comments with smilies and likes!

I may be old and have been out of the dating game for some time, but damn if I don't know when I'm being flirted with. Oh, and did I mention that she's about 1,000 miles away from me? (no exaggeration!) So, it's all in good fun.
