I have a NWT dress for sale on eBay, and it retails at $148. I put it up BIN for $70 and get an offer for $50. I reply with a counteroffer of $55, but because in the meantime I screwed around with the listing and added a Best Offer option that auto rejects anything $55 and under, the buyer was excluded from accepting my counter-offer. My bad, and a few days later, I saw what had happened.
I emailed the buyer and apologized for seeming like a rude jerk and explained that I'd screwed up. If she still wanted the dress, I'd sell it to her for her original offer of $50.
So what does she write back?
"How about $40?"
How about you kiss my ass and join my blocked list, you asshole!
