I don't pay much attention to reselling furniture because it's way out of my league, but I recall that there are some people here who do, and I'm hoping I can get some advice and/or pointers to other sources.
I have a Duncan Phyfe-style drop-leaf table with four chairs. The only identifying information is a tag on one of the chairs that says "Associated Factories, 666 Lake Shore Drive, Chicago". The little bit of info I've been able to dig up says that Associated Factories changed its name to American Furniture Mart in 1938, so that suggests to me that the table and chairs I have were made prior to 1938.
Anyway, I'm curious about what the set might be worth and how I can find out more about it.
(It's my table. My husband and I bought it from a relative in the late 1990s. I'm trying to clear some room in my house and thought I'd try to sell it because we never use it and it just gets in the way.)
I can take some crappy photos and post them if that would be helpful.
