I have an Olympus DM-901 voice recorder, new in box, never been opened, listed as MF on Amazon. I just got a message from a potential buyer asking whether the wifi app that goes with it has been "improved" (apparently, there were complaints about it not working well when it was released in 2014). I haven't the slightest idea, and I think I should refer him to the manufacturer, right?
But my big problem is that he wants to know if the recorder is returnable if he buys it, opens it, and finds it doesn't meet his needs/expectations. Well, of course it's returnable because that's how Amazon works, but if he returns it, I'll have an opened product that's suddenly worth much less. How should I respond to that question?
This is the first time something like this has come up for me, and I'm at a loss as to how best to respond.
Help????
