Came across a seller on eBay with a TON of sales on buy-it-now items sold for $999. The unusual thing about these sales is that they’re for items that should sell for far less. Like mid-upper t-shirts (~$50) and bras. The seller also has “normal” sales peppered in as well. So, something seems shady here, just not sure what it is.

Edit 2: Per the comments below, it looks like this seller sells multiple quantities of the same article of clothing. When they run low/out of inventory they put the price up to $999 until they can restock so that they don’t lose the watchers/history. When they raise the price of the existing stock, that then makes the price of the sold item also reflect the higher price.
