Declaring at US Customs

Post Body

Do I have to declare something that I purchased while in the US but am bringing back from the UK? For example, I purchased and paid (online) for a workshop to make a bag while I am on an upcoming trip. This was paid for about a month ago. When returning to the US with the bag, do I need to declare this? It was around $200, so I am just trying to make sure I stay under the $800 limit as I’ll be bringing home a few other things most likely.
