As someone who has come over from magic the concept of being “too late to the party” or missing opportunities for playing certain heroes because the top 5% of players broke a hero really sucks.

It really isn’t too bad now, but down the line it’s a huge design flaw. Forcing people to play a different format entirely because a deck won the top tier tournaments is ridiculous and heroes should still be able to exist at other levels.

Most players do not play at the top tier level of competitive play.

I love this game, but like others it is not without its flaws that will make it struggle to succeed. :)
