‘03 DR650 with 100,000+KMs. Rebuild, replace or keep chugging?
Post Body

Hey all, my trusty bush pig has now been burning/leaking oil at the rate of about 1 liter of oil per 3000kms for the past 10,000 kms or so. Still runs well, in fact I’m currently on a 8000km round trip of the New Zealand’s South Island and she runs absolutely mint. Starts pretty easy, never chugs or feels ‘weaker’ or anything.

What would you do? Keep running it and add oil as you go as I been doing? Replace the engine? Rebuild the engine?
