Post Body

Just did the valve stem seals, spark and compression are good on both. L side exhaust is coming out smokey and the exhaust is cold, R seemed fine. I thought L might not be running at all so I unplugged the spark cable from R (so L was in) side and it ran just fine, did the same with L side and it didn't start. Which I don't understand since it was the one that was hotter. Revs come back down normally and no backfiring. I'm thinking it's gotta be a carb issue but I cleaned them pretty well when I had the engine apart.

Forgot to add that I haven't run the engine for more than a minute or two, but the difference in temperature is apparent quite quick and the smoke seems light in color and weight.
