Post Body

Hey all, Recently bought another project bike that needs some TLC. Major issue is that at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle the engine seems to sputter out and just overall isn't running smoothly even at idle. Pulled the tank off to find the idiot before me thought pod filters looked cooler (even though you can't see it..) I pulled the carbs, cleaned everything, replaced the jets and needle valves. Put it back together only to start it up and stall once I released the choke. I have to have the choke on all the way for it to idle. So mixture is running lean, do I buy replacement parts for the OEM air filter (~$60 USD) or can I buy larger jets? Am I oversimplifying the problem and perhaps other major things may be wrong or out of tune?

Thanks for your help! Any is much appreciated!!
