Please help before I have no hair left (Filament getting stuck to the nozzle and not the bed on initial layer)

Post Body

I have no idea how to explain this accurately so please forgive me.

So I'm fairly new to 3d printing, I have had some success but for the most part I am having this issue. On the initial layer the filament doesn't seem to be extruding correctly, it prints a test line which appears to go fine then when it moves onto the model itself it starts to follow the print line but doesn't extrude anything, then it starts to extrude but just sticks to the nozzle and not the bed, it like drags what it has extruded around with the nozzle which just causes a huge mess. I have tried to include a video but it's not the best quality so again I apologies.

Okay my setup and settings

I am using Geektech 3d pla filamentI have a magnetic metal removable base plate (can't remember which brand)The nozzle is standard one that came with the printerI am running a 215oc hot end with a base plate temp of 80ocI am using Ultimaker Cura for splicingThe retraction distance is set to 0.8MMThe retraction speed is 35 mm/s

I have tried adjusting the bed height to ensure it is right and I am about 90% sure it is (Again I'm new)I have tried adjusting both the bed and the hot end temps (Up and down)I have tried changing the retraction distance to 1.2mmI have checked that cooling is turned off for the first layer

Please any help?? I am not sure what I am doing wrong?
