I’ve got an Ender 3 v2 and a while back I posted about the exact same layer shift problem on my x axis only. I’ve tried everything I can think of and wanted to see if anyone could offer some new advice. It always happens in the same spot.
I completely bought and replaced my X and Y axis belts one of them was frayed. They are tightened to the sweet spot. I’ve completely replaced my X axis stepper motor which after doing I’m just happy it still works 😂. I’ve adjusted my X axis potentiometer both too high and too low so it’s in the sweet spot now as well. I cleaned the lead screw and made sure it’s not bent at all and all the grooves are clean. I’ve adjusted many of the slicer settings and tried adding a z hop, played with the retraction settings, slowed everything down, you name it nothing would change the shifting so I’ve put them all back to where they started.
My friend who’s dealt with printers a lot says I should try replacing my board, currently I have a silent board and before I spend $40 on a new one I wanted to see if someone has had this issue before. Any advice is appreciated thank you!
