Print seems to fail after many good layers?

Post Body

Hi all,

New to 3D printing so please excuse my ignorance. I have an Ender 3 pro that I've been playing with for a few weeks and until today was getting nearly flawless prints.

Now I'm having an issue where I'll suddenly have a bad layer that does not adhere to previous layers. I don't understand what's causing the issue. I'm running the default settings on the printer and slicing with Creality Slicer 4.8 with 10% infill (no other settings changed). Filament is PLA.

Example (stopped mid-print): https://imgur.com/enrmn8x

for reference the model is: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5195349, which I've successfully printed before using this machine and doesn't require supports or anything fancy.

What could be causing this issue? My first thought was that I'm not extruding enough, followed instructions to increase the steps / mm and still not having any luck.

Please help!
