Hello, I recently hired a graphic designer to do a cartoon logo of me for my computer instruction business and the first draft is so bad I am unsure how to give him revision feedback.
I will post a link in comments to what I received
Where do I even begin??!?? Can I just ask him to abandon this project since I think it needs very extensive revisions?
Can anyone who does graphic design help me word the needed revisions in the correct lingo? What I think is wrong with it.: Doesn't look anything like advertised style. Face looks chonky and fat and jaw is huge. Eyebrows are jacked up. ears are uneven, lips are too thin , eyes are too small, why am I hump backed??? Includes no outfit styling, no indication this is for a computer business.
I asked for style of cartoon on his fiverr art and received a really bad rendition of me.
In addition he didnt use the back ground colors I asked for and the business name in the logo was worse than I could create in MS word art.
These were my requirements: mascot type: I would like a human mascot that looks like me. I have attached two photos. My hair is brownish red. Please see image "hair" for a carton drawing of the color and style I like. (provided the image of my hair from my bitmoji which he used exactly)
My eyes are dark hazel (brown/green)
company name: provided
No Slogan
type of business - Blog and video channel that teaches adults the basics about computers, how to set up computer devices, cyber security and helps non-tech people understand cyber/computer topics in the news.
ages about the Audience - Adults. Age 35 and above. Parents and grandparents. preferred color - Please see image "colors and fonts." these are the types of colors I like. the design in that file should not be used. Its just a color example I would like a font that is more angular than bubbly. similar to the font RR-beaver. A font that would go with a computer technology business. preferably a font I can download similar so the blog looks more cohesive.
Dream logo? No dream logo in mind. I like the style of the girl you have on your fiver cover art. Professional outfit and smiling. Thank you,
