[ADVICE] Figuring out a niche that is realistic

Post Body

To give everyone a bit of context I'm in my 20s and live in a LCOL US state and recently due in part to glaucoma my vision has gotten bad enough to where I'm blind in one eye and nearly blind in the other.

I'm aware it isn't easy to support ones self so I have modest goals of earning $1k/mo within the first year. I'm considering voice acting, content writing (I have worked professionally in journalism) and doing such things as tarot reading/new age stuff or tutoring. I've used the platform as a buyer before so I've got a few questions.

1) Am I able to sell and buy on the same account?

2) Does speaking multiple languages help here? I speak two European languages fluently in addition to Mandarin Chinese.. Previously looking at the CN language gigs, there seems to be a lot of sellers but little engagement.

3) Are niches outside of art/writing able to have longer delivery schedules? I can't imagine a tutoring session being booked last minute, for instance.

3.5) With regard to tutoring - is that something realistic when you have so many other websites for (e.g. teaching English)?

Thanks in advance.
