Why is no one considering chicken as a cheap alternative for protein?

So, I see people talking about eggs, soya chunks, paneer etc as affordable foods for protein.
Egg cost 6-7 rs. 5 egg white gives 17g of protein for 30-35 rs. (Avoiding egg yolk as it contains lot of fat) ie:- 1.8 - 2 rs per 1g protein
But chicken cost 250-300 rs for 1kg. 100g chicken gives 27g of protein for just 25-30 rs. ie:- 0.8 - 1 rs per 1g protein
So I would say along with egg white, soya, etc we can add chicken which is a great affordable protein food which people often don't rave about.
