I'm trying to get in shape. What shape I'm not sure yet, but I'm down 20lbs from eating less and moving more (I started Krav Maga recently).
I'd love to add a weight routine for strength and aesthetics, but my only times available are Monday through Thursday. Everything I've read says you need a day of rest in between lifting days. I just want to know that I won't be hurting myself if I go M-T-TH or M-W-TH. I'd like to guess that I'll just be slowing my improvement by doing so, but that I'll still improve.
If that's the case I'll sign up for the gym on Monday. I've already looked at the place, there's even a trainer at the gym that supposedly can walk me through technique on everything (yes, I have the book, I've watched videos-I'm just scared). If this will hurt me though I need to do something else...
