Got a copy of convict conditioning for the holidays. I've been weight training for the past two years or so but love the idea of body weight exercises that I can do anywhere. All sorts of things in my schedule try to keep me from the gym, and having an anywhere routine would be the bees kees. In addition to well, life getting in the way of my gym going, I recently injured my back with a poor form squat (was tired and full of hubris), and have had to stay away from heavy weights. I feel like CC is a good fit for me at least until my back is healed, but I am sort of skeptical of its long term potential.
I've slimmed down by about 30lbs and packed on a lot of muscle over the past 2 years that I don't want to back pedal on. Fittit, are there any of you out there who are convict conditioning masters? Can you share with me your success stories? Anyone have progress or before/after pics? I've tried searching, I've read the sidebar, but I have only found a bunch of posts questioning CC, and a few people with short term progress pics.
I want to see the masters out there and hear what you have to say. The book does a great job of exciting me and wanting me to believe, but I'm worried that it's just too easy.
Edit: Let me rephrase. I don't think that getting to any of the master steps will be easy, simply that it seems like it's not enough of a workout to sustain my weight loss and strength. It just seems too good to be true; so I am guessing that it is.
