I’ve seen it is widely recommended to foam roll a specific area for short periods of time, like 20-60 seconds per area.

But I wonder, what does “an area” mean? I like rolling each leg’s frontal part for about 3minutes, because I roll the inner leg, then the two parts which are in the front, and then the other part which is closer to the it band.

Would this count as not recommended? I guess each part is a different area right?
