When does improvement of my CNS end and muscle growth begin?
Post Body

First off, sorry about the title I couldnt think of a better way to say it. Some background, I'm a 21 year old male (5'9" 230lbs) and this time last year had 1R maxes of 270 bench, 380 squat and 450 deadlift. I took a year off due to a shoulder injury and just life circumstances.

This past Sunday I did 3x5 225 for squat, 135 for bench and 145 for deadlift and these all felt heavy and like I couldn't do any more. Today I did 3x5 275 for squat, 185 for bench and 225 deadlift. I'm assuming these are all from my CNS adapting, is there a rule of thumb for when my nervous system stops being the primary gainz maker and my muscles start making the gainz?
