What is supposed to happen at the bottom of a squat? A crunch?
Post Body

For me (low bar), I go past parallel, then Im deep enough and then I push back up. However if I keep sinking down I feel a crunch at the point where my leg bone meets my hip like they just crunched into each other. And this is slightly painful depending on how fast I "crunch" into this point.

So I actively try and avoid it. I try and go just past parallel but no farther for fear of the crunch. Is this typical? What is supposed to happen when you can't go any farther? How do people usually know that they've reached the bottom?
