I have been weightlifting for about 6 years, doing SS for about 4 months. 6'5", 195lbs, 23 years old, squat 225, bench 165, deadliftt 275.
I am able to do sprints without issue, however I would really like to able to run a mile without my Achilles tendinitis setting in. It seems to be just a function of time. I can sprint (wayyyy more force) without issue as I said, but even 1 complete or two laps and I start to feel that familiar Achilles pain.
They aren't really injured right now because I have stayed away from running for so long (except sprints). But every time I try and startt I don't make it anywhere before I get the pain. How can I build up to a mile without any pain whatsoever?
