Pain muscle under right shoulder blade during press?
Post Body

When I am doing the press and I accidentally put the bar too far out in front of my body (huge lever arm), I feel a pain in the muscle just underneath my right shoulder blade. additionally, if I try a higher weight than I am used to I get a similar pain (kind of a dull ache). I assume this is because of the same reason- a lever arm still exists even if its smaller when I do the lift correctly.

Does this sound familliar to anyone? What is happening here?
