Games will not recognize controllers on ROG ALLY.

Hi peeps, just downloaded GranBlue and OceanHorn 2 to give them a try before I decide to buy, on a regular gaming computer, an xbox controller works perfectly, zero issues, but on the ROG ALLY, the games do not recognize the xbox controller or the built-in ROG ALLY controller. Am I missing something? I have zero issues playing Steam games.
