How to make good fisting?

With my current partner, we have been together for quite some time. We have tested quite a lot in bed, but we wanted to try fisting. It goes great for us up to 4 fingers, but when I fold my hand already in such a "U" (?) and try to put my whole hand in it is hard, it hurts a lot. We have tried many times, at times using a ton of oil. The warm-up was solid. How can we improve our way?
